You’ll do breath, touch, and eye-gazing practices with each other to revive your connection.
There is no touch from me unless explicitly requested for demonstration.

✨ Tantric Awakening – 3 hours – €400

A deeper ritual in which you both receive a tantric massage from me.
We work with breath, touch, and subtle energy.
With your permission, I may also use guided touch to help you feel how life energy moves through the body.
Everything happens with clear agreements and in a safe, respectful space.

🌊 Deep Dive – 5 hours (incl. intake & aftercare) – €600

In this extended session, you’ll learn how to give each other a tantric massage at home.
You’ll explore how touch can relax, open, and deepen your bond—and, if desired, how to include intimate areas in a soft and sacred way.

Dear tenant, 

Welcome to our Temple of Happiness!

Below are the frequently asked questions along with their answers:

  1. Where is the key, how does access work, ins and outs, upon arrival, during an event, and upon departure. At the FRONT, by the main entrance, there is a small safe. I will send you the code. The silver disc where the safe is located is built into the wall, next to the AED, which is to the LEFT of the main entrance on the short wall there.

    How does this key safe work?
    a. Push the silver disc aside to reveal the key safe, turn the wheels to the required code, then turn the entire safe counterclockwise a quarter turn. After that, pull it out and attached to it is a tag, which you hold up to a metal plate to the left of the main entrance.
    b. Prop something in the door so it doesn’t close, and immediately return the tag to the safe, as multiple groups in the building use it. c. “Scramble” all the number dials so the code is not visible.
    d. Once inside, follow the BLACK linoleum floor, the “black path” haha, and you will arrive at the rear entrance that you are familiar with.
    e. Once through the swinging doors directly across from Studio 14, you will see a white open shelf. Inside are white and red plastic crates. Open the white crate at the very bottom left, inside is a white metal tin with a window, containing a key with an orange flower attached. This is for Studio 14, the hall.
    f. The restroom key is on the left side of the frame above the restroom doors.

  2. How does regulating the room temperature work?
    There are thermostat valves, each radiator can be regulated separately. The central heating is on until 10:00 PM. After that, you can turn the timer clock in the hallway to the right for an additional 2 hours of central heating. It is located to the left of the white door to the central heating (directly opposite the swinging doors). If it is still too cold, check if all windows are closed, close the double curtains, and if needed, use the small heaters in the room, which are distributed across multiple power groups (they are loadable up to 16A). Please do not move them, as it will cause issues.

  3. Where are the extension cords located?
    There is a red reel in the closet with the curtain opposite the entrance to the hall, where the DJ mixer is located. Additionally, there is a cord in the red box (in the open shelf where you found the key), bottom right, by the massage oil. In Studio 13, next to the desk on the floor, there is a power strip, and immediately to the right of the entrance, behind the black heater, there is a black/green reel. You will also find the key to Studio 13 (the small studio right next to the rear entrance) in the white tin.

  4. Should I bring tea or is it available in the kitchen for use?
    Tea is available on the countertop, additional tea is in a box in the open shelf next to the temple entrance, labeled “tea”.

  5. Can I heat up something for lunch/meal?
    Yes, there is 1 induction cooktop and a small oven.

  6. Are there enough plates and utensils?
    Yes, there are enough for 30 people, in a utensil/dish cabinet in the kitchen, next to the refrigerator, it’s self-explanatory.

  7. Where is the aroma lamp for cleansing the space with essential oils, or do you have an alternative like sage or incense for energetically cleansing the space?
    The aroma lamp is in the red crate with the massage oil in the open shelf, by the entrance door of the temple, bottom right. Essential oils are also available.

  8. How do you want me to leave the space, how clean?
    If you follow the link, you will see the cleaning protocol on the website.

  9. How does the sound system work? Explanation of the sound system: please follow this link .

  10. What can I use for ambiance in the room?
    In the room, you will find in the red cabinets (the opening facing the wall): singing bowls, percussion instruments, massage sheets, wraps, blindfolds, various types of tarot cards, a hammock, and an orange silk cloth. You may use these, but please be careful with the thunder drum (do not pull the spring!!!!) and with the sansula, which is the thumb piano with a drum skin (do not strike it!!!).

  11. Can I light candles?
    No, unfortunately, that is strictly prohibited. There are electric, rechargeable candles in the window frame that you can use. After use, please press them firmly into the holders and recharge them. You can also use the items in the window frame for your altar or similar. Please DO NOT use real candles or incense, due to the risk of fire!!

  12. Do you have any cozy mood lighting?
    In the corner to the right as you enter, between the gray curtains, there are two sockets for ceiling lighting (ambient), and behind the gray curtain is a socket for a clip-on spotlight for the Thangka.

Audyo started  his career  as a Ecstatic Dance DJ at our Temple of Happiness! And now we are proud to see this star DJ-ing everywhere:

Nowadays he supports Leiden Ecstatic Dance and founded Ecstatic Dance Gooi & Vecht (together with YogaToday) as a “resident DJ”.

Using all his musical and live experience he makes great sets and soundscapes on festivals like: Frequency Vibes, Dance Camp, Healing Garden, Hippieland, Het Grote Fijne and Shamanic Events.

Audyo about himself:

As DJ Audyo I have been playing DJ sets in various musical genres since 2017 like:
Progressive, Organic, Mantra, House, Folktronic, Techno and Psy Trance.

But because I was paralyzed on one side a few years ago, I learned what frequencies and movement can do to heal people!

This made me play in the Ecstatic Dance scene where I create unique DJ sets and soundscapes (sometimes together with live playing artists) now to see the stars shining in the eyes of all the free spirits around me…

Dj Jivanmukta: (Janine)

About the DJ Jivanmukta: She played piano in a Big Band for 15 years. Also, she wrote and performed songs and mantras. She found herself lucky to discover Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythms Dance already in the year 2000 and played frequently as a DJ and ceremony leader for 9 years in a 5 Rhythms support dance group in Leiden. Dance became her passion, and she integrated conscious dance in her practice as an Empowerment/tantric teacher and Storyteller years ago.
In 2012 she discovered Ecstatic Dance and became a passionate dancer in the ED community in Amsterdam. Together with her partner Mark she started the Temple of Happiness (later: Temple of Happiness) in 2017 and became the driving force behind the scenes.
She started to play ED and Chitta sets for herself to dance as a spiritual practice, while more and more people joined her. Together they became the Urban tribe of the Temple of Happiness, a kundalini-transformative abundant and playful dance tribe based upon non-dual awareness from the heart. Nowadays she is a resident DJ, artist and teacher in this Temple. She integrates Storytelling, teaching, music, massage and dance in a joyful practice that support people on their journey to free themselves from limiting beliefs.

Esta Polyesta:

Recently someone asked if I know a DJ who plays Esta’s style…. no! She is unique, I wrote him back. Her style is a mix of world music, ethno house, global beat, psytrance, and different vibes to feel good. There is no other DJ and artist like her, with her female power, she puts your both feet on the ground, let your roots grow into the earth, while you are as light as the wind and your heart sparkles…
I can’t explain in words, you have to experience her Ecstatic Dance journeys in your own body… She creates ED tribes and dances all over the world and plays at a lot of festivals on this planet. Her favourite spot is Goa, India..

DJ Huibert: is our own discovery! This DJ discovered ED and got so excited, that he started to make his own sets. Last year he did his premiere in our temple and it was so good, that we asked him back eversince. His style is like his character: gentle, sensitive and deepening. He takes you on a journey that comes directly from his soul.

Huibert about Ecstatic Dance and what he loves about it:

“In 2019 I discovered Ecstatic Dance. How unbelievably cool is that! I had heard of it a lot before, but thought the name was stupid, haha, so nice and short-sighted…

Anyway, Ecstatic Dance has given me a whole new dimension to going out. So much so that ‘regular’ going out ended up in a big shadow…

…People generally feel quite ‘free’, which in turn invites others to experience this ‘free’. If you feel like standing on your head, for example, you can do that, nobody will be surprised. How you move or dance, everything is fine as long as you don’t endanger anyone…

DJ Jethro: Jethro is a great DJ and already famous in places like Odessa etc. End 2021 he played for the first time @ Temple of Happiness… Our tribe is excited about his dance journeys eversince, because Jethro’s sets feel like a sweet dream, but there is a tiger in the middle that wakes you up…

DJ Iccha: (Herman Franssen) played his first set at our dance temple, early 2020. Since then, he has played at many festivals and has been regularly invited back here. in the past years we saw him growing and playing in the whole country at great (Ecstatic) Dance scenes..

Iccha means wish or desire in Sanskrit, and is associated with Iccha-Shakti that is the surrender of your will, your wishes and desires to Shakti, the primordial goddess. As a DJ he supports you in the dance to meet your wishes and desires,so the divine can manifest itself in you.

His sets are powerful, connective with the heart were the light and the dark meet till illusion disappears and you melt into oneness.

DJ Yarun:  is an artist with a unique style within the Ecstatic Dance Community. We already know him from Club Lite, and after that he used to play with us in 2018 and again in November 2021…it was a amazing set, with lots of beautiful heart energy. Although he plays @ Odessa, no worries, Yarun said: I feel it as one tribe, one family! We love that, Yarun!

Being a resident DJ in Amsterdam, he is playing on Ecstatic Dances and Conscious Festivals around the world.
The music he plays is inspired on tribal shamanic sounds from around the world mixed with a large spectrum of electronic music styles. The feeling on the dance floor is spacious and grounding, compelling melodies, strong and earthy beats. Rhythms that make your Body want to dance, your Mind to become silent and your Spirit to expand.
Dance journey’s often with a deep flow and some unexpected twists and turns at times. Dancers often experience a deep ecstatic quality by the experience and the feelings that are being touched, while coming to the surface and being released give space to directly experience a freedom and presence…

DJ Sefrijn: DJ sets by Sefrijn contain music from all over the world, different atmospheres and styles mixed into a smooth dance journey. Immersive African percussion and Tribal House that leaves you stamping on the earth, but also a sensitive ear-pleasing melody, or a playful Klezmer intermezzo. As a DJ he plays at Ecstatic Dance events throughout the Netherlands and beyond. He chooses tracks and transitions in the moment, in attunement with the dance floor. DJ Kareem Raïhani:

Our first Dance night in our Temple of Happiness started (september 2018)  with Kareem, and we were so proud to have this magic master of dance & music..we knew he was once a professional dancer himself. And he is much more, he helped to develop the music with Ecstatic Dance, pout it on the worls map,  and also educated lots of new DJ’s by provoking them to  create their own music, and DJ sets instead of copying eachothers styles!

Kareem Raïhani  is a world wide know DJ for  ecstatic journeys and other music on festivals, gatherings, retreats and ceremonies.
The only way to understand what all those dancers feel thru Kareem’s music and dance is to simply experience it!

For more then 20 Years, Kareem Raïhani shares his music throughout Europe and beyond and mixes like no other different styles of dance music into a happening of body shaking rhythms, shamanic vibes, heart opening sounds, spiraling melodies and contagious grooves.

His sets are containing many of his own productions and remixes. Being close to the heart and Mother Earth. Respecting ancient knowledge and conscious of modern technology.

Kareem’s Dj sets are setting dance floors on fire! He is always reaching for that moment when the trance kicks in and the dancer becomes the dance…

DJ Bravon:

With his  love for music and dance, he creates unique musical dance journeys, right in the moment tailor made for this dance floor.

DJ Qatweazle:

DJ QatWeazle always has a surprise in store for you. One time he takes you on a magical journey through Wonderland, the other time you experience a raw absurdist hurdle in which unbridgeable musical worlds follow and embrace each other at a rapid pace.

DJ QatWeazle’s musical journey is one you won’t soon forget. In addition to the rhythmic lifting sounds, he also introduces you to frayed music: you can dance with your own demons and bring them to light again during the dance.

When the trip is over, you’ll be home safely. DJ QatWeazle is also an enthusiastic dancer and likes to immerse himself in music during the Ecstatic Dance.

 

He is also the founder of Ecstatic Dance in Enscede, where he played many years on Landgoed Algoed. And an great organiser of festivals and big events.

DJ Socrates:

I specialise in blending different cultural & musical roots into adventurous soundscapes that make for a warm ambiance. Rather than highlighting the contrasts I link the similarities I can hear in the music. Cumbia, Reggae, Bhangra, Celtic Fusion, Organic Electronica, Afro Bass, Tribal Rave.. I find my tracks in many different genres, as long as there is soul in the music and it helps me to tell a story, I will use it’s colour on my palette.

DJ Martyn Zij:

Martyn is a multiple talented artist and musician. With influences of jazz and his background as an artist he offers you dance journeys in which you ground and melt with your inner source of love.. In the past years he grew towards a superior DJ (with a modest attitude…) He is one of the first DJ’s in Ecstatic Dance Amsterdam (Club Lite) and plays worldwide in lots of festivals.

Ute is an electric violinist, singer songwriter and composer who holds degrees in clinical psychology, hypnotherapy and energetic healing. As a performer and speaker she merges the fields of music and mind in service of inspiration, healing and empowerment. She has performed on club and event stages throughout the world, from Luis Vuitton to Sensation White and co-composed music for film, TV commercials, theatre and documentaries including the Floriade, C&A Europe, Unicef, Terre Des Hommes, Picnic and Opus One. DJ  Yellow Rose, is a dancer who is often on our dancefloor. She is also a DJ since a few years.  We love it and welcome her!

DJ Yellow Rose (Hansje)  about herself:

Since I can remember I have always been a passionate dancer and music-lover and, the step to become a DJ was something I dreamed about. And I knew that the time that I will stand behind the decks, will happen someday. As an active Ecstatic Dancer the last few years my ear for music became more aesthetic and diverse. For me, Ecstatic Dance is a form of making art through movement. My goal is to introduce dancers new beautiful and surprising music to let them paint a fantastic and unexpected piece of art. An art piece where they are proud of and never painted before. I would describe my style as surprising, weird, dreamy, sentient and theatrical and it’s drained with electronic flavors.

DJ Stefano:

Stefano Richetto did we discovered during the lockdown periode, because he cycled through Amsterdam DJ playing a great set on his bike, while inviting people to be happy !

This was so surprising and it sounded so well, that I called him.

After we met he told me he has his own radio show. But he liked Ecstatic Dance and our way of dancing and conecting, so he came here in the beginning of 2021 and played an Ecstatic Dance set for the first time.

Later on he founded Kaap Amsterdam, in Amsterdam East! A great place to dance and enjoy the city beach near het IJ, which is now the home town for Ecstatic Dance Amsterdam (EDA) on Tuesdays!

Muziek als Levensweg

Ik zing al sinds mijn 11e. Op straat, in theaters, en in eigen cabaretprogramma’s. Muziek is mijn leven en leven is mijn muziek. Begonnen als straatmuzikant, en op podia sindsmijn 16e, nadat ik een aanbod voor een platencontract weigerde omdat ik geen cover wilde zingen Na intensieve theater en kleinkunstscholing in Nederland en Antwerpen volgde een tijd van doceren, acteren, trainen en coachen van vele groepen, en een jaar rondtrekken in Costa Rica.

Deze reis maakte de kunstenaar en vrouw in mij weer helemaal wakker.

De ervaringen in de jungle en de zee lieten me mijn cabaretprogramma’s “Gnoeluk”, “Snorkelen” en “De zon staat stil” te schrijven, waarmee ik meedeed aan cabaretfestivals.

Maar de muziek voelde als mijn ware pad, en de typetjes verdwenen geleidelijk naar de achtergrond…. Een aantal Spaanstalige songs over natuur en godinnen volgden.

Daarna startte ik vrouwencirkels en trainde groepen in improvisatie en theatermaken, met zelfontwikkeling als doel. Ik werd moeder en ging toch als als actrice werken. Ik bouwde ondertussen Engels Nederlandstalig en Spaans repertoire op. Na een auto ongeluk en 3 stembandoperaties was het eindelijk duidelijk : zingen en geen rol meer spelen was mijn weg.

Ik begon met muziek en paarden te werken, en vrouwengroepen.

En ik ging weer naar Costa Rica. Daar kreeg ik tijdens een meditatie aan zee een schokkend en voorspellend visioen van een godin !- Yemanja, de godin van de zee bleek later- die me waarschuwde……want….
Toen kreeg ik kanker. 

En kroop door het oog van de naald.​

Daarna was er voor mij nog maar 1 weg: zingen.

En serieus nemen dat ik gevoelens van anderen kan vertalen naar een lied. 

Music & Talks werd geboren.

Na dood te hebben aangekeken voelde ik meer dan ooit dat het leven zo voorbij kan zijn !

En dan valt alle excuus om jouw unieke bestemming te volgen weg.​

Ik breng je bij je hart via mijn songs, training of creatie !​

He is a deeply dedicated DJ, weaving all kinds of tribal, ethnic, world, shamanic and psychedelic forms of audio acupuncture and is not afraid to throw in lots of other styles such as bass, jazz, drum & bass, funk, soul, breakbeats, dubstep, classical or whatever tricky treats suit the moment.

Apart from being a DJ, he and his partner Baxtak (Outtalectuals Records) have launched the ‘Shivelight’ project for quite a few years now and with incredible succes. Together they managed to draw the attention of ten thousands of listeners and visitors from allover the globe who have noticed their unique Shivelight party concept. Dj Annika

Ecstatic Dance to Anica is a wonderful tool to come closer to oneself. It allows to discover the power and movement in the body, but also the stillness, both in body and mind, and to explore the many nuances of joy, sadness, and other emotions of the heart. For many years of her life, Anica has travelled, intrigued by what this globalized world is about, to understand different landscapes, the colorfulness of culture, and the reason for so much inequality. The most fascinating to her however is what makes all of us humans equal: the ability to move and to feel… onto the sound of music. Dj Shanto

DJ Shanto, wellknown because of his big conscious Dance party Nataraj, introduced  Ecstatic Dance in the Netherlands in his Club Lite in Amsterdam, many years ago….. and within a few months it became a dancing  community of more than 200 people every week!

We are so greatful for his initiative, because Ecstatic Dance really changed our lives! We used to dance there every week since the day we met.Mark and me (Janine).

We never deared to dream that one day he would play in our little Temple of Happiness on our conscious dance parties! And in fact he enjoyed the first time so much, that he asked to (and did) come again, because of the warm atmosphere..

That feeling is no coincidence, because when Club Lite had to move out, we felt so sad, Mark and me, that we decided to start a Temple space with this feeling of club Lite, which means creating a  warm homecoming feeling for a dance family, where everyone has a place and  can be themselves.

So when Shanto comes to infuse our place with the vibrations of his great music sets, we welcome you and almost insist  theat you dance and enjoy his amazing light and music style!

Ecstatic Dance Band: Source of Freedom!

Dansmeditatie band Source of freedom bestaat uit Abrahim (percusie/gitaar), Paul (piano/percussie), Laurens (gitaar/percussie), Erik (acoustisch/electrisch/basgitaar) en Bahar (dansmeditatie begeleider/dirigent).

Ongeveer 11 jaar geleden speelden we in onze eerste formatie, met nu nog altijd dezelfde intentie. Meditatie en afstemming op het nu en het lege midden. Een uitnodiging om aanwezig te zijn met dat wat er is en er expressie aan te geven. Als we die intentie aan de dansers kunnen overbrengen is het voor wat ons betreft geslaagd.

In de band luisteren wij naar elkaar, de dansers, de stilte, onze instrumenten, het moment en scheppen een soort landschap waarin de dansers mee kunnen gaan ontdekken, spelen en ont-moeten.

You can describe his style as: Old and new musical styles, innovative, experimental, string themselves together in an ecstatic composition and thus form a colorful clothesline through an imaginative landscape, without preference, purpose or meaning in advance other than an invitation to the dancer to surrender and share blissfull energy.

Who am I?
René, DJ De Nachtpapegaai (The Night Parrot) is color in the dark. This rare bird started as house DJ at Odessa Amsterdam, and now flies all over the country to places where people still really dance. The music of De Nachtpapegaai is warm, colorful and meditative – “tantric lovemaking”, according to one dancer. And when there is a need to dance, then there is dance, to rumbling drums, booming beats and electronic rhythms from the deepest depths of the cosmic ocean.

Interview with Judea: DJ and multi instrumentalist

Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to host many rising stars, from artists to DJs, who performed for the first time, or nearly so, in our Temple. Judea is a DJ who is expanding and transforming a two-hour Ecstatic Dance journey into an entirely unique experience.

About Judea:
Judea, conservatory-trained, has focused as a multilingual and multi-instrumental musician on enchanting world music with ancient roots and a spiritual slant. He plays acoustic guitar, indigenous flutes, djembé, shamanic drums, singing bowls, and other breathtaking sound portals. With a voice that heals and inspires deep listening, Judea leads you on a musical journey that ultimately returns us to the core of our own inner existence.

We interviewed him about his creative journey.

Welcome Judea, can you tell us a bit about yourself as a musician?
Judea: I studied classical piano and percussion at the conservatory and was a music teacher for many years. The COVID period turned my life upside down when I lost my job. But it opened the door for me to focus more on composing and producing my own music and mantras. I also discovered that DJing, especially for Ecstatic Dance Journeys, is something I truly enjoy.

What kind of music do you create now?
I arrange mantras and spiritual songs using my own instruments and voice, blending them with the electronic music I compose. I also perform this music during ceremonies and mantra concerts.

What instruments do you play?
I play various types of Indian bamboo Bansuri flutes, guitar, percussion, and keyboards. Recently, I fell in love with the harmonium, another keyboard instrument. I also incorporate singing bowls into my music, blending them with electronic beats to create unique tracks and arrangements.

What drives your passion for music?
Music is deeply emotional for me. It transports you to different layers of consciousness and has a healing and liberating effect. My dream is to take people on a journey, experiencing sacred mantras, world music, and electronic sounds on multiple levels.

What can we expect?
The evening starts with a heart-opening cacao ritual, moves through guided meditation or a workshop seamlessly into the energizing beats of  my Ecstatic Dance set. Afterward, we’ll end with a calming sound bath by another artist, allowing for full integration of the experience. My dream is to lift people up with my music and gently bring them back down, together with the healing vibrations of a sound bath.

Will it be a fully live performance or a pre-recorded set?
It’s a mix of both. I pre-record some parts where I play various instruments and then mix them live during the set. I’m particularly interested in how sound vibrations affect us deeply, often using the 432 Hertz frequency.

Why should dancers come specifically for your set?
Honestly, just come, experience it, and judge for yourself. Words can only say so much. I’m really excited for this night and I hope everyone enjoys it.

About: Mantras for Happiness

Recently something magical happened during the Mantra circle that Annemarie Libbers accompanied at the cacao ceremony during Chitta! A mantra circle of extremely talented singers and musicians spontaneously arose. There was improvisation, self-made songs were played and mantras were sung.
Janine has wanted her “own” band or Mantra circle of the Temple of Happiness for years and now a few people wanted to participate: the time has come! In mid-April, that group made a cautious start with, among other things: Annemarie, Sunny Ellen, Martijn, Lennart, Sam, Janine. We are a brand new group and not everyone can be there at the same his time. The group is also definitely going to grow, so feel welcome to join if you want to practice and help the group develop further.
We call ourselves: Mantras for Happiness! We don’t just sing Mantra, actually it’s Badjans. But also own work and improvisation will be played. On April 22, Janine, Martijn and Annemarie will take the lead. On May 13, Martijn and Janine will bring their own songs.

I play Ecstatic Dance on my own place on Barcelona, and I do monthly Holos Festival on the nature. I played since 2012 on different Ecstatic Partys on Netherlands (Nijmegen, Breda, Den Bosch, Zutphen, Utrecht, Maastricht, Venlo, Amsterdam), and on other countries on Europe and America (Guatemala, California).

I’ll back to Netherlands next may for share the music that inspires my Soul. On my sets I connect with Kundalini Energy, to connect all the tribe with global energy field. And we can feel, freedom to move our body without control.

This is my bio:

Electronic dance music lover, and vinyl devourer since the late 80s. Since then he has played in clubs like Razzmatazz, DC10 Barcelona, Concuerda, Syndicate, Row14, Voltech club, among others. He came to share a booth with djs like Alecs Marta, James Ruskin, Oliver Ho, Mouseup, Kosmos and Len Faki. Since 2012, he has combined his facet as a therapist, and researcher of energy medicine and bioresonance, with his passion for music and his path of spiritual development; where music and dance have always had a special role. Through Ecstatic Dance all its influences converge to create soundscapes that submerge us in an ecstatic trance, and make us melt into the sound richness of a music that combines a taste for the abstract and futuristic, together with the most archaic and rooted. A sound cocktail, where the organic and the digital flow, merge and combine; to create a range of endless textures, where the listener’s mind merges, and becomes one with the pulsing rhythm that awakens our instincts; the emotional melodies that open the heart to sensitivity; and the hypnotic atmospheres that take the mind to a meditative state.

He has participated offering Ecstatic Dance sessions at many festivals such as Spiritual Dance, Jiwapop, Barcelona Burning Bash, Ecstatic Dance Barcelona, Own Spirit, Open Heart and Psyfi, among others. In 2018 he began to expand his sessions to other cities: like Ibiza, Bucharest, Amsterdam, Nijmegen, Breda and Berlin, Leuven, Madrid, Malaga, Valencia. He came to travel to America, to play in Guatemala, and the West Coast of the US. Hallo, ik ben Lieke Wouters. Ik geef Sound yoga; mantra’s (en heartsongs) met elkaar zingen, klanken maken, meditatie. Ik zing en begeleid mezelf op Indiaas Harmonium. Daarnaast ben ik thuis in energetisch werk en ben ik trainer en coach. Ook werk ik regelmatig samen met een gitarist en percussionist (Gerben Zwart en Constance Kerkhof) en dan vormen we met zn drieën een (mantra)band en geven we mantrazang- avonden met elkaar.

Tobias Bader, born in Berlin and living in Amsterdam, makes accessible vintage pop music in which clear sixties and seventies influences can be heard. He effortlessly switches between different styles of pop music. His characteristic voice and guitar playing ensure that the melodic songs always have a recognizable sound of their own. Tobias collaborates with various musicians such as the Grammy Award winning pianist Brad Mehldau, Robin Berlijn (Fatal Flowers and Kane) and Diederik Nomden (Analogues, Johan) and Ute Passionflower. The poetic and visual lyrics are written by Dick Sinnige with whom Tobias has a long-term collaboration. He will be accompanied by Ute. Tobias has been playing with Ute for a long time and they have written and released an EP together.Tobias Bader and Ute Passionflower write fantastic, imaginative, inspiring, unusual, melodic and catchy songs in various styles, from cosmic country and vintage pop to spiritual disco. Guitar, violin and vocal harmonies combine beautifully in their acoustic Duo or band.
Before Tobias played as guitarist for Ute’s band Passion Flower. Now their paths crossed again, when Tobias asked her to join him as a singer and violinist in his own project. They have started to write songs together after playing together for quite some time.

Viktor Valjavec started his musical journey 15 years ago at one of the most musically diverse places in the Netherlands called Woodstock69. Woodstock69 being such a diverse place enabled Viktor to lay a strong foundation working with different genres, crowds&events. Viktor’s style can be described as highly spiritually charged tribal, ethnic, world music flared with dashes of soft gentle angel and farytale like sounds. BOUT SULAH (MATHILDE)

Scoop! Sulah (Mathilde) plays for the first time in the Temple of happiness Amsterdam, December 23…
This talent was discovered by Marion Visje, who patiently kept convincing us that we really should choose her for our dance party on December 23. And she is right, because even though Sulkah (Mathilde) is a newcomer, she has a fantastic voice that stands out!
She also creates beautiful songs, in addition to her moving performances of age-old mantras. This star has previously performed on an open stage, in various living rooms and during a spiritual festival. She absolutely loves it when we play our instruments together with her. So: bring your instruments and enjoy the mantra circle/live concert of this new and promising singer/songwriter on December 23!

ABOUT IZORA (Irene)

Workshop Bellydance (ALL GENDERS)
In this workshop you will get an introduction to Fusion Bellydance. We will break down different steps and moves, such as slow bodywaves, slinky undulations, hiplocks and earthy shimmies.  Subsequently we put these movements together in a small flowing combination and practice them in different tempos. The emphasis is on a smooth flow. We will play with effects and locks.

Izora is a Tribal Fusion Bellydance performer and instructor from the Netherlands. She is a graduate of Rachel Brice 8 Elements Phase 1&2 and DanceCraft Key of Diamonds and Spades (Zoe Jakes Format). Izora often performs with the Dutch balkan band Scheepskameel.

In deze workshop leer je de basis achter Fusion Bellydance, een moderne buikdansvorm waarin verschillende dansstijlen terug te vinden zijn. Kanika Bansal’s journey is a vibrant tapestry of dance and yoga, woven with passion, dedication, and boundless energy.

From the tender age of five, Kanika graced the stage with her dance moves, igniting a lifelong love affair with movement. Welcome to Divine Tantric Play, an enchanting journey through love and consciousness that you can experience every second Saturday of the month! Let yourself be carried away on a playful exploration of tantric energy and expand your consciousness in an enchanting way.

Our evenings are infused with loving skin-to-skin contact, healing touches, sensual massages, breathwork, sounds, and movement. It’s a celebration of life, an invitation to feel and embrace your natural life flow.

Upon arrival, we open our hearts in a connecting opening circle, where we tune into the energy of the evening. Then we dive deeper into a tantric workshop, led by the passionate teachers Mark and Janine from Wilde Ziel. Each workshop is unique and can range from the enchanting Divine Tantra Dance, where you explore your inner energy blindfolded, to a Shibari workshop that explores the connection between tantra and the Japanese art of bondage, or a relaxing Tantra massage workshop.

After the workshop, it’s time for playful exploration in our Divine Tantric Playground. Here, we have all the space to share, experience, and enjoy tantric massages, Shibari exchanges, sensory journeys, and tantric meditations. Feel free to bring your own rope, feathers, massage oil, or other items to make the experience even more personal.

It’s important that our evenings are characterized by a loving, sensual, and playful atmosphere. We welcome beginners and experienced tantrikas to come together and share in a safe and respectful environment. Liefde ! Altijd maar weer de liefde…….

We zijn het, we verlangen ernaar, we worstelen er mee, we komen er van alles in tegen, het leidt ons naar diepe dalen en naar grote hoogtes. Liefde is wat ons verbindt maar wat ons ook kan afscheiden als we haar niet meer kunnen voelen.

Rolando Toro noemde biodanza ‘een heropvoeding in de liefde’.

Zelf zou ik het eerder een herinnering aan de liefde willen noemen want biodanza helpt je de liefde die je, in essentie al bent, te herinneren. Om er weer meer toegang toe te krijgen en haar meer voluit te durven en kunnen leven.

Maar zoals de indianen zo treffend zeggen : de langste en moeilijkste afstand die een mens in z’n leven kan afleggen is die van het hoofd naar het hart.

Dansen helpt je om die weg te banen. Het haalt je uit je hoofd en laat je in je lijf zakken. En door de gerichte ‘oefeningen’ die we doen word je steeds opnieuw uitgenodigd je te verbinden met je hart en je buik. Ga je steeds meer ervaren wie je bent voorbij je denken. Kan het leven weer meer door je heen stromen en kan je voelen hoe verbonden je bent met alles om je heen…….want liefde verbindt.

De spontane beweging in ieder mens is altijd richting verbinding, hoe verwond we wellicht ook zijn geraakt.

In het versterkte liefdesveld dat we met elkaar vormen kunnen we de verbinding herstellen. Want we hebben elkaar broodnodig om te helen wat ooit, óók in verbinding, beschadigd is geraakt.

Joanna geeft regelmatig dansdagen over deze  liefdes‘lessen’. Deze geven je de mogelijkheid om een diepe duik te nemen in het liefdesbad en stappen te zetten in de liefde. Om haar dieper toe te laten, in de verbinding met jezelf, in de verbinding met anderen en in de verbinding met het grotere geheel.

Mijn naam is Joanna en vanaf 2012 geef ik wekelijks biodanza in Amsterdam en sinds september in het Temple of Happiness.

Daarnaast heb ik een achtergrond als lichaamsgericht therapeute en werk ik als (trainings)acteur.

Dans brengt verdieping, beweging en heel veel vreugde in mijn leven.

Dansen laat mij stralen vanuit mijn essentie. Dat is ook waar ik naar streef in mijn lessen.

Tantra 

Meditatieve energetische massage

Tantra meditatie & Pranayama leren? Enrgieboost in je lijf ervaren? Liefdevol aangeraakt worden?

De sessie begint met een intake en uitleg over Tantra. Vervolgens mediteren we, of doen we een tantrische yoga oefening, waarna je een lichaamsmassage op de tafel krijgt. Tantramassage spreekt je zelfhelend vermogen aan, het zijn energie transformerende massages, zonder seksuele focus, waar je verfrist uit tevoorschijn komt. Voor singles en ook voor stellen. Prijs vanaf: 80 euro per uur, sessies kun je boeken vanaf 2 uur.

Klank Healing

Verhoog je energie door klank

Tibetaanse klankschalen geven een diepe resonantie (trilling) in je lichaam, waardoor je van binnenuit ontspant en stress loslaat. Een sessie duurt ongeveer 1,5 uur en bestaat uit een korte intro met je vraag, gevolgd door een voorbereidende meditatie met intentie en een klankschalen healing. Liefdevolle zachte begeleiding, je energie verhogen en je een middag laten verwennen! Prijs: 60 euro per uur.

Op mijn 16e werd ik al ondernemer. Ik heb mij ontwikkeld van timmerman tot aannemer, meubelmaker en boten (interieur) bouwer tot ICT programmeur. In 2016 richtte ik met Janine Tantraschool Wilde Ziel op.

Ik kwam op mijn 18e in aanraking met Tantra en heb een achtergrond in emotioneel en Tantrisch lichaamswerk, Tantra Yoga en klassieke meditatieve Tantra. Vandaaruit ik me ontwikkelde tot bodyworker, trainer en relatiecoach. Tantra is mijn levenspad en ik ben elke keer weer verrast hoe snel je door Tantra weer helder kunt denken en in je kracht kunt gaan staan. Niet alleen in je seks of relaties, maar in elke situatie eigenlijk.

Jivanmukta (Janine):
In zo’n 20 jaar ondernemerschap heb ik mij ontwikkeld van jurist, beleidsadviseur en procesbegeleider tot zelfstandig coach, programma-ontwikkelaar en trainer. Ik heb een achtergrond in Empowerment, systemisch werk, psycho drama, muziek, Yoga, klankhealing, conscious dance, Tantrisch lichaamswerk en klassieke meditatieve Tantra. Tantra rolde mijn leven binnen via een aantal inwijdingen in mijn liefdesleven.

Langzamerhand ontdekte ik dat Tantra de “moeder” is van alle westerse spiritualiteit zoals Yoga, klankhealing, meditatie etc. In juni 2022 ben ik Sannyassin geworden, met de intentie om de heldere energie zoals van Osho, die ik in mijn hart voel  nu ook echt te leven. Mijn spirituele naam is: Jivanmukta dat “leven in vrijheid” betekent. Met de klemtoon op léven: met de pootjes in de klei, eigen-wijs, open voor het wonder en ook gecentered.

Samen met mijn partner Mark organiseer ik Tantra en Conscious Dance events en geven we onze kennis door via workshops, cursussen en privé-les. En we sturen een heerlijk liefdevol team van vrijwilligers aan, samen met  het bestuur.

Daarnaast doe ik de administratie en  alles wat er verder nog komt kijken bij het centrum en de Temple of Happiness…

 

Tibetaans Boedhistische meditatieve Vajra dans

Vajra betekent onze werkelijke natuur, vind je bron terug met deze dans

Vajra betekent: onze werkelijke natuur. Door klank en beweging brengen we ons hele wezen op een ontspannen manier in balans. In deze dans schenkt de meditatieve aanwezigheid in lichaam, stem en geest rust en helderheid.

We dansen op een mandala in vijf kleuren. De mandala, de kleuren en de vlakken representeren de verbinding tussen het innerlijk aspect en de dimensie van de wereld buiten ons.

De Vajra Dans is verbonden met de oude Dzogchen traditie van Oddiyana en onafscheidelijk verbonden met de overdracht van het Dzogchen onderricht. De Vajra Dans is doorgegeven aan de boeddhistische leraar Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.

Vajra Dans wordt sinds 1992 wereldwijd beoefend door leden van de Int. Dzogchen Community en is sinds 2011 erkend door CID, The International Dance Council, Paris.

Int. Dzogchen Community Nederland organiseert Vajra Dans beoefening in ons Temple of Happiness te HW10, Amsterdam.
